this Thursday's run

can someone let me know where we should meet at Allerston please? Is it on the main road A170 (e.g. at the pub?) or down the main street of the village. I seem to remember Allerston is very long, so any more detail would be good please? Thanks, Philly

Petes Soup and Cycle ride

Thank you Pete and Hazel. Despite not being able to sit down today and having to find a more comfy bike seat it was all well worth it for the lovely soup and bread at the end. The serving of the soup by Hazel was especially first class. And Karen did a pretty good job too........ providing you were able to make a decision which soup you wanted.....otherwise the telling off and sharpe, "just make your mind up" comment was very entertaining! (Thanks to Claire for the home made bread too! Yum.).

Can anyone help me with this? I have tried several times now to put photos on the website but its telling me its too big. Even if there is only one photo? What am I doing wrong?

Vanessa's Testimonial

Vanessa your testimonial compliements the existing suite perfectly.

Another good piece of encouraging testimonial work thanks.

You are also, in my opinion, the best looking testimonial submitter yet!

AGM Minutes ...

AGM

The minutes are now up on the website here:

http://www.pickeringrunningclub.co.uk/agm-minutes-2010

There is a new menu item on the left called Club Documents that links through to it.

Blog Publishing on Front Page

I've changed the default publishing setting for blog entries to NOT publish on front page, although they are still not private. Private forum still to come.

Cycle n soup

A Huge Thanks to Pete and Hazel for arranaging a great ride and nourishment, the soups where lovely.

I have just plotted the route on Bikehike.co.uk, a distance of 26.42 miles.

A great distance for the first time out this year on the old road bike, and I really enjoyed the surprise hill and good company.

Thanks again

Jayne and Rob

Muddy Boots 10+k, Ripon

Just completed the Muddy Boots run at Ripon in 49.24, knocking over 4 minutes off my PB. A great run but not as muddy as I thought after the snow.

Great performances from Duncan and Nicola, hopefully both PBs.

AGM

I would just like to thank all those who work so hard for the club: the run lists, the training ideas, this web site, social events, etc, etc. I am very grateful. All this enables someone like me (not very confident and rather quiet!) to trot happily along in everyones' wake! Also led to me knocking 20 minutes off my previous half marathon time at the Brass Mankey!!!! Thank you.
