The Curse of Middleton Carr

Today a curse has been lifted.

A couple of years ago I concocted an MTB ride from KMisperton of about 22K. During my first attempt, my old MTB got totally stuck in the mud and so did I. Then got a puncture. During the second, my chain broke off my new bike and I had to get er indoors to come outdoors to save me, eyeballs rolling.

How I love intervals

I think "enjoyable" is the word for the intervals session last night.

New members Hanna and Clare/Claire did well keeping up with the fast group. No going back now.

Loch Ness Marathon

[Test message written by Terry] The weather was extremely hostile - windy, wet, and cold, on Saturday, but fortunately we were running on Sunday when the conditions were perfect. Gary running his first marathon ran a very impresive 3.43. Vanessa improved her PB by more than half an hour finishing in 3.55. I stuck to my steady ten minute mile pace and made it home in 4.21. Nicola, also running her first marathon, aimed to finish in under five hours. She certainly did that, coming in at 4.42. Terry
