Hi, Just realised I will need a lift to the Glaisdale fell race tomorrow. Is any kind soul passing Lockton and has space in their car? Thanks, Sue

Walk to Pocklington

I will be walking to Pocklington from Norton on Sunday March 19th.  This is the start of my preparation for the Iceland trek in June.  Next up will be Peter's Three Peaks walk followed by two Lakes backpacking trips.  The Pocklington walk is about 24miles, with a break for lunch at Thixendale. If you want to join the walk, and would like to eat at the Thixendale pub, please go to the Thixendale village website and have a look at the pub menu.  Let me know your preference, and I will pass them on to the landlord.

The OMM

For those of you who have done/might be interested in doing the 2 day OMM mountain marathon, here is a film of last years' event. Sue, me, Tess and Steve did it - though for some reason they chose to follow the elites instead!
